IN ORDER-

here is mine

1-kobe- hands down best, gets nod over bron due to defensive
2-bron- in due time he will be better than everyone else
3-duncan- do it all team player, consistent on both ends
4-chris paul- as of today best pg on the court, if had nash's teammates he leads nba in assists.
5-d. howard- today's beast

seriously. I dont want to get into the Lebron v. Kobe debate either, so dont post a reply if you gonna tell how Kobe is better. its just my opinion.

Its really pointless (and redundant) listing the top 5, because its pretty obvious who are the best right now. there will be slight variations, but theres only a handful of "top" players, so its not like we have a lot to choose from.

I look how you wanna look, I fuck like you wanna fuck, I am smart, capable and most importantly, I am free in all the ways you are not.

lebron should probably be over kobe here, but ima laker fan til the death so im a little bias. if the season ended today, chris paul would probably be voted MVP though imo.

mvp is different from best player. this is a great list however.
im sorry but until bron pulls up his shorts and plays d like kobe then he will be #1, ppl overlook defense. yes lebron is great but for me, you gotta d-up!
im not saying bron doesnt play d but he doesnt go all out on both ends.

def agree, thats why i had paul 3rd rather than 1st. i think thats my only reason he hasnt passed him quite yet, until i see him on an all-defensive team, kobe will have an upper hand on lbj.

and i actually like stephen a. smith, his voice and screaming can be annoying at time, but he speaks the truth the majority of the time..

yup, everyone wants to see a exciting ball player which is most of the time is good offense but real ball players and ppl who understand the game in and out knows defense is just as important. lbj is nowhere near kobe's level on d...yet.

steven a. is the truth..yes how he expresses himself can be annoying but thats him. he tells it how it is, gives you insight and not biased. the second best around is greg anthony.

baron davis is #1 in nothing but street ball style. he will never win a title with that style of play. Entertaining but thats about it.
And he must be dreaming if he thought he was gonna make all-star with byron scott coaching. he quit on byron scott.

If you read, this is MY top players...it is all subject to opinion. Of course being a lifelong Warriors fan im going to have my guys in my top ten. B-Diddy is my favorite player right now. T-Mac is just like V.C., going downhill and forgettable. AI is nice, but Monta is going to be just as good a player in 5 years. If he went to college, he'd only be a junior right now....think about that. D-Wade came back from his injuries too quick, to a old and pathetic Heat team, where he will never win another championship again. Youd seriously pick Jose Calderon over Monta?? Hard to believe, but opinions are opinions. Everyone has one, so no one is wrong.

Alot of ppl are ranking this just on pure "skill" level or stats. Thats fine, but I didnt form my list like that. These are just my fave 10. Biggest reason for putting BD number 1, is the emotion and heart he puts out everytime he is on the court, that goes along with the whole Warriors squad. To some people, these things are more important than stats.

You're a fucking idiot. This whole "choosing" your top 5-NBA players has more to do with emotions than brains. We are choosing players who we like.
