LRG has already established itself as a powerful clothing line. Why do you guys think they have not opened up any LRG stores?

unfortunately this will go from answering the hypothetical question to an LRG bash.

but LRG has proven that they'd rather make it easy to get their clothing anywhere than making it exclusive or limited.

I have to admit, back in 99-00, I was a fiend for LRG. Was trying hard to find their stuff. But now that I see it everywhere, havent bought em for a long time. They still have my respect.

they are evreyware i dont think it would be needed.. they still have tehre 'fashion' peices tho .. shit thats is made in less nubmers and is not avaible to evrey store.. it could prboley happen tho.. like sean john .. that shit can be bought in the middle of greenland for fuk sakes.. but they sitll have a flagship store and there store has limited pceices that regular stroes dont get .. it could happen.. its probley evrey brands goal to open up a flagship.. i dont think l-r-g is that big yet tho.. they may be evreyware but there not doin 200 million dollers in sales .. at least not yet anywayz

^^that argument makes no sense. The Hundreds, Diamond, and Rogue Status all have stores...and I'm reasonably confident none of them are even remotely as big as LRG in sales. Its' about the branding, where the brand is going etc. LRG can clearly afford to open their own stores if they choose to. However, whether or not that's a smart move, and whether or not their own stores would move as much as their existing big retailers do is another matter entirely. I suspect they did their research and realized that their brand would not benefit greatly from having a store...

i dont see why everyone is hating on lrg lately i mean yeah they got real big and alot of shityy kids like there stuff, but i mean like people are really gonna hate on a company cause they are making money. i mean like some people dont get that people put all there money into these kinds of companys in hopes to make money, and i mean they really arent being succesful if they arent making profits and have a limited amount of customers. i just dont see people can hate on a company for getting big, i mean at least hate on the kids who hop them when they are big

Every month you get a thread about every little "street" brand you dickride so the real question is When are you going to mature?

I think an LRG store would be dope but with their availibility in almost every local mall, I guess it wouldn't be the best buisness move but who knows.
With LRG expanding rapidly, Im sure Jonas and his crew have discussed the pros and cons of this buisness venture and I'm sure they know what they are doing.

I think rascalaat is right.

I thin they could pull of a store, cause like someone else said, they have pieces thats not available in Macy's, pieces that aint available in up against the wall and dr jays, and they got stuff that aint on karmaloop, you just got to know where to shop at...

Im not liking a lot of their tshirt and top designs anymore, but their jeans are still tight and their outerwear is still top notch shit, I still fucks with LRG cause their quality is still better than just about every brand that gets hyped up on here...

Im really starting to mess w/ their plain pieces like the thin plain pullovers and the crewnecks etc, I actually think that LRG would have a crazy store if they did something similar to american apparel(w/o the sleaziness and fruitiness) and offer a lot more basic pieces...cause I think thats needed, a brand where I can get that hiphop/streetwear fit w/o lookin like a walking advertisment.

...or hell, they should at least open a specialty-boutique type store w/ rarer pieces, almost like a public showroom, and they would DEF build a store in LA, not ny...

Sorry to mess up the topic but, Peter, how did you get that avatar??? It's supposed to be Lupe Fiasco off the "I Gotcha video right??? Either way, it's dope. But LRG is a nice brand. I'm usually impressed with their designs. A lot of ppl complain about "the good ole' days of LRG." I say fuck it. lol. They do what they do, if I'm compelled, I'll cop. ya dig??? I'm gonna go watch some porn or something. lol.

NO FUCKING DISCUSSION ON IF LRG HAS SOLD OUT OR NOT...just talk about why they dont have a store....

I think they should. its a good image for a brand, even if they are sold everywhere. a Flagship store is just nice.

yeah it would be definately nice to see one of those. i bet jonas just has other ideas up his sleeve in different industries and doesnt care to have a flagship store because he definately capable of easily doing so.

LOL, seriously? Why all the way in Berkeley, in Norcal, when they originated from Santa Ana and could've just easily started down there or a neighboring city.

LRG should have a store, but just one, and not in a mall. It would have different stuff than the rest of their clients, or perhaps just exclusive colorways.
