what a spiralling, aimless season. i still enjoy it, but there's a lot of fat to be trimmed. on a completely shallow note, tara looked wonderful with shorter hair.
1 VERY good thing about the finale -- hopefully season 4 will take place more than a few seconds after season 3. i'm talking like a few years. that felt like the end of a significant stretch of these characters' lives, kinda like the end of season 4 of lost.
I was kind of let down by that finale. Nothing really got resolved. Every story just has a huge cliff hanger. I understand you need some cliff hangers to make people tune in the next season but they didn't tell us shit about shit.
Yeah that surprised me. I don't doubt that he doesn't actually love Sookie though. øøøøø just had a job to do and fell in love with his work. It happens.
Also, what the fuck was up with Sookie putting Talbit's organs and shit down the drain. That shit was OD crazy. She looked out of her mind.
hoenstly this finale was only meh. it could've been better, maybe a bit more with sam after he shot the brother. i cant stand jason's storyline this season, cause the werepanther was kinda annoying. tara finally figured this small town was getting to hick and left. i'm feeling how sketch bill is now. it seems hes doign everything for the sake of sookie, but also to just have her for himself. glad eric got out, cause he's the life of the show with sookie.
I thought Lafayette's storyline was dope this season. I'm glad they didn't kill him off. Definitely one of the most badass gay characters, like Omar from The Wire.
i remember an interview with sam trammel (who plays sam merlotte in the show) saying that all the storylines would converge by the end of the season. i would've been satisfied if they had, but they really fucking haven't. everything on the show just feels random, from one disconnected scene like jesus the witch, to another, like sam shooting his brother.
also, wtf @ sookie's characterisation. first she's impressed that eric would burn out in the sun for her, then she's cursing out all vampires and talking to bill as if he were an animal. THEN she's laughing maniacally as she grinds up talbot's remains. i feel like the show has too many characters and this season was an attempt to service all of them. even with the king not dying in that cartoonish way of putting him somewhere and expecting him to stay there. and wtf with bill and sophie-anne being able to fly?
i mean, it'll take a heroes dip for me to stop watching, but the show is getting there.
Yeah, they ruined an otherwise great season with that finale. I'd expect Sophie-Ann to be able to fly since she's a queen and everything but maybe Bill learned too?
Eric is so cool. Hatin on Bill because he can't have Sookie.
Boring? WTF?! I thought that shit was nuts. So much potential. I love how they didn't show how everyone got to their current position. I thought this season was gonna be shit because they added witches but I'm feeling good about it. Maybe they wont have werewolves this season even though Alcede was cool. Vampires, werewolves, fairies, shape shifters, and witches is too many supernaturals in one damn show.
