how much do sam 710s shrink
How much do 710s shrink? I have searched the forum and all the answers involve the waist and inseam. What about the upper thigh, leg opening and knee? I ask because I have a near perfect fit on mine pre-soak, and if they shrink a lot, I'm just never gonna wash/soak them.

Need Major Advice / Help
I got a pair of Imperial Kings sz33, indigo.

Got the kings because I like em' loose around the thigh (i'm jacked lol nah but really got big thighs), but man are these fucking long and they flare out like a mother-fucker.

I am usually a 32 inseam, but wear a little low so last measurement was 28 (I'm 5'10).

I want to take them to blueingreensoho and get them hemmed AND tapered(unless anyone else knows a good tailor in nYc)..

----What length do you suggest I get them hemmed to (have not soaked/washed)??, these jeans have to be cuffed like 4-5 times because the opening at the bottom is so wide if I let them hang then I step all over them.
----I want to get them tapered. Never had a pair of jeans tapered before.... Do they close it up from the knee down, or just at the bottom cuff, or can you specify to be a pain in the ass??

Thanks for any help in advance, I really appreciate it and am just clueless when it comes to tailoring.

As for a sizing question, are you supposed to size up or down for dry denim? I hear people sizing down saying that it'll stretch and some people saying size up because it will shrink. Are there particular brands that stretch or shrink? Thanks!

Im 6 ft, what would be the best inseam for STF's for not overly stacking but some stacks... I don't think 34" in my nudies stacks much at all, what do you guys think?

40 or 38?

Is there a sure way of telling which ones will shrink or stretch? Or a particular guide I should read regarding which one will shrink or stretch?

a LITTLE thinner
Hey, I'm not looking for skinny jeans because that's just not me, but i'm looking for something a LITTLE thinner(maybe a little shorter) than this. It's a 34x34.

(not really a fit pick, just seeing how jeans look with shoes)

So what kind of fitting should i look for?(straight leg, slim, loose etc.)
Also what's some nice denim i should start out on? I'm not much into that yet.

^its pretty hard to get 501s to look like skinnys, u'd have to be the biggest dude on the block. Up 1-2 in waist and at least 2 for inseam

Do you have to have pretty almost skin tight fit on your thighs to achieve phone fades. I've been wearing my APC NC for like 6 months but never seem to get any kind of phone fade, even with my FH BSPs at 4 months i cant anything :|

I just bought a pair of APC NS size 33, true waist measure is 36, but I normally wear 34 in most brands. Theyre pretty tight in the thigh but I can button them with ease. Will they stretch out too much?

Thanks...

I do sag, just taking the pics without...

Quick q about honeycombs in general. My pair of nudies I started wearing a year ago, I have washed them quite a few times. The things is that after the first wash, the honeycombs from wearing it ~5 months no wash do not line up with the new creases formed from when I wear them post wash. I stretched them out and stuff, but they just don't over lap. But after washing it more and more times, the honeycombs from the original creases get more and more prominent even though the creases from wearing them after don't line up. I tried soaking them too instead of washing, but the creases and the combs are not consistent. I don't like walking around with combs behind my knees that don't match up with the creases from walking, ya know?

Is it bound to happen with jeans that aren't thick/stiff? How can I prevent this from happening with future jeans. My next jeans will probly be APC or skulls.

Okay, so I'm kind of a denim noob, but i'm getting there. any way, all i really wear are levi's, and i love them when i first get them and as soon as the stack settle in and everything, but then i notice (first on my 511's, now on my 510s) they get kind of soft, and start to get kind of loose around the thighs? anyone else have this? this pair is at 2 1/2 months, prob 4 days a week wear, and they're already getting loose near the thighs. help?! :/
