In addition to showcasing his talents on screen as the incorrigible David Brent from The Office, Ricky Gervais steps away from the cubicles and limelight and into unknown “territories.” Also directed by the comedian, the upcoming Netflix Original Series Special Correspondents partners Gervais with Eric Bana as intriguing reporters who release thrilling stories without leaving the comfort of New York. With an important story based in Ecuador pending, the duo fully embraces the term “fake it ’til you make it” to their fullest comedic abilities as the plot eventually leads to them hilariously faking their own kidnapping.
