Porsche Design has tapped into its heritage with the unveiling of the Chronotimer Series 1 collection, to be launched next month. Inspired by the brand’s Titanium Chronograph and the Chronograph I from 1972, the first sports watches on the market to feature titanium casing, the collection will consist of eleven references all cast in titanium with 42mm cases and a ETA Valjoux 7750 movement. The watch bezels are available in brushed titanium, black PVD-coated titanium, and 18k rose gold, while the dial options are black, dark blue, and carbon fiber, whilst strap are available in leather, fabric and rubber straps or a titanium bracelet. The Porsche Design Chronotimer 1 collection is set to debut at retail in July 2015, at prices ranging from $4,450 to $7,950, find out more at the brand’s website.
