Montreal producer/DJ Shash’U has conjured up a “PWRFNK” remix of Danny Brown‘s erratic, grime-indebted XXX track, “Lie 4.” Eschewing the turbulent pace of the original for a smoother-cut, funk-filled groove, Shash’U turns “Lie 4” into a track that could very well get 70’s or 80’s party-goers rushing to hit the backyard dancefloor. Originally featured during Shash’U's recent Boiler Room set as an unfinished bootleg, the remix now sees release through Fool’s Gold and Shash’U's Soundcloud.
