The Roots - When The People Cheer (Lyric Video)

A few weeks back The Roots shared the first single off their upcoming album, …and Then You Shoot Your Cousin, and now today they give us a lyric video for their song, “When The People Cheer.” Enlisting director Joe Baughman, The Roots supply a claymation video, which follows the main character as he explores an empty factory after hours. The video definitely provides a breath of fresh air when you think back on some of the more recent hip hop videos to hit the airwaves, so check it out up above and let us know what you think.
