Vans may have built its reputation on the strength of its skating heritage but with its latest collaboration, the footwear label has cooked up shoes tough enough to stand the heat of a professional kitchen. Teaming up with celebrated Montreal chef Chuck Hughes and Off The Hook, Vans presents the “Black Crab” pack for spring. The pack consists of a Sk8-Hi Reissue Zip LX and Authentic LX, both of which are presented in all-black colorways. Built to withstand the often wet and slippery confines of a kitchen, each shoe features water-repellent uppers, padded cork insoles and non-slip waffle soles. The Sk8-Hi Reissue takes it a step further with a gusseted tongue and a waterproof heel zipper. The “Black Crab” pack will be releasing March 22 at Off The Hook store and online.
