Originally shown earlier this summer at San Diego Comic-Con 2013, the teaser trailer for the follow-up to 2012’s massively successful The Avengers has finally hit the internet. Dubbed The Avengers: Age of Ultron, the forthcoming film is once again written and directed by Joss Whedon and reunites the likes of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark/Iron Man with Chris Evans’s Captain America, Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, and Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye under the watchful eye of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury. This time around, the villain is Ultron – an artificial intelligence (played by James Spader) with a god complex, not to mention a resemblance to Tony Stark’s own armored suit – and nothing but hate for his human creators. Marvel‘s Age of Ultron is due to hit theaters in the summer of 2015.
