Drake – Hold On, We're Going Home

Here we bequeath anyone that recalls a certain 2011 summer in which “Dreams Money Can Buy” and “Headlines” gave listeners and critics a preview of the inescapably likable Take Care, that which gloriously flaunted Drake‘s penchant for both pop sensibilities and den session-approved bars. It seems we find ourselves in a similar situation as “Started From The Bottom” has, indeed, risen to Clinton-esque levels of universal acclaim from the primetime club circuit, and “Hold On We’re Going Home” is unleashed on the blogosphere. Mr. Graham allows for no confusion that this is, in fact, a return to his sing-song methods for captivating female listeners, though ‘fellas need not hide within the confines of a pair of Solo HD headphones to enjoy the track. With smooth pop singles as yet another notch in his oft-referenced, though still proverbial belt, we eagerly look forward to Nothing Was the Same‘s September release. For now, enjoy the radio rip below.
