Steve Peat Test Drives the Santa Cruz Solo Through the Scottish Mountains

For Spring/Summer 2013, Santa Cruz Bicycles has launched a number of new bicycles. A noteworthy vehicle from the batch is the Santa Cruz Solo – a 125 mm trail bike with 27.5 inch wheels available in lightweight aluminium or carbon. Aptly documenting the “solo” aspect in its theme, Santa Cruz has enlisted British mountain biker Steve Peat to take on the Scottish hills. In this short, Peaty starts the day in an abandoned abode before venturing into the woodlands and conquering the sparse landscape. With a soundtrack by Joe Gideon & the Shark, the moving clip shows the striking scenic spots of Scotland alongside Santa Cruz’s dynamic offerings in the realm of mountain bikes.
