Following yesterday’s grand unveiling, Apple presents a more in-depth look at the forthcoming iPad Air. First shown during the Cupertino giant’s keynote, the video sees Senior Vice President of Design, Jony Ive; Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, Dan Riccio; and Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, Craig Federighi, waxing poetic on the super-thin iPad’s sleek design and new features. Measuring just 7.5 mm thin and weighing only one pound while integrating Apple’s proprietary A7 processor in conjunction with iOS 7, the iPad Air represents Apple’s latest efforts to pack more power into an ever-smaller and lighter tablet. The iPad Air is due to be available from Apple’s retail spaces and online store beginning November 1 with prices starting at $499 USD.
