Daniel Chmielewski is the co-founder of Canadian retailer HAVEN and plays an integral role top-to-bottom, from conception and design, to helping his brother and fellow co-founder, Arthur, with the buying. Daniel’s role doesn’t end there, as the hardworking Edmonton native is also the driving force behind the store’s marketing and PR services, as well as the tedious yet crucial task of inventory management and logistics. It then comes as no surprise that we find a bottle of Jack Daniels under his line of Essentials. The two brothers founded HAVEN in 2006, and since its e-commerce inception in 2007, the retailer has branched throughout Canada to open three retail spaces in Edmonton, Vancouver and most recently Toronto. Having established itself as a premier provider, HAVEN now curates a formidable line of brands that includes Reigning Champ, Deluxe, Bedwin, COMME des GARCONS, Mark McNairy, NEIGHBORHOOD, WTAPS and many more, as well as a strong archive of coveted collaborations which has become synonymous with the retailer.
