With their debut LP Oshin set to release on June 26, Dive has made a rather significant change to their act by renaming themselves DIIV. The alteration was made out of respect to the original band, Dive, as DIIV member Zachary Cole Smith had this to say about the namesake: “A name is nothing. I don’t really give a fuck what the band is called. I originated this project in a bedroom with no internet and didn’t know it would ever leave.”

Along with the new identity, we also receive a fresh single from the Brooklyn outlet. You can enjoy “Doused” below as we await more from the anticipated project. Enjoy.
