Google Maps Now Offers Ocean Views

Having already garnered the status of a household name, not to mention having been adopted by a large number of mobile platforms, Google Maps now takes it underwater with its addition of “Ocean View.” Playing off the highly innovative “Street View,” where users have the option to zoom in for a more detailed view of the city streets, “Ocean View” allows curious users to venture into the seas for a better look at the unique rock formations and aquatic life that would otherwise remain unseen. With the help of the Catlin Seaview Survey, Google reaches yet another milestone in its department of cartography.
