Despite being a decidedly fashion-forward urban design house, Japanese label visvim brings a unique and carefully honed sense of nature to each design it produces. This element rings especially true with the new *F.I.L. Exclusive GRIZZLY BOOT MID-FOLK for visvim’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The GRIZZLY is a carefully hand-sewn boot constructed from Italian canvas together with vegetable-tanned cow and antelope hides, all resting atop a robust Vibram outsole. And inside, you’ll find a highly breathable pigment-free cowhide liner and a natural cork footbed. A waterproof Swiss Riri zipper protects the inner from the elements, and make this boot more than capable of tackling any inclement weather you might encounter on the streets. The GRIZZLY is coming soon to the visvim online store, where a pair is expected to retail for ¥88,000 JPY (approximately $1125 USD).
