Saya for Arper by Lievore Altherr Molina

Often times the beauty of a design is found in the well-executed simplicity and minimalism that can be far too easily overlooked. For Spanish designer Lievore Altherr Molina, the “Saya” chair represents a stripped down aesthetic that speaks for itself in the careful details and sleek nuances. Set atop a four-leg base, the Saya chair is constructed from oak wood, is finished in teak, and completed in a natural stain. It features a sharp cutaway and contoured back, strategically shaped legs and base that furnish it the ability to be seamlessly stacked against other Saya chairs should the need for space and storage arise. In addition to the all-wood versions, the Saya chair is offered in a chrome metal-legged iteration as well that give it a slightly less organic and decidedly more contemporary appeal.
