Asher Bradshaw: 7-Year-Old Skater

What were you doing when you were 7 years old? Skaters of all ages agree, no one started as early, as talented, or as inspired as Asher Bradshaw. The skateboarding phenom is still in elementary school, but already shreds harder than kids twice his age. He’s been busy in the year or so since his breakout YouTube debut, catching the eyes of Tony Alva, and helping his parents work on a Kickstarter project to fund a documentary about his amazing talent and viral rise to skating stardom. Ed Sanca recently caught up with Asher in Venice Beach and put together an edit showcasing the youngster doing exactly what he does best.

    I just saw him one day which was veryy windy, and he tried his best, but were really bad weather conditions for big jumps… anyway as you probably know skateboarding is a lot about falling… and is really important to learn to stand up and do it again and again… most of video just edit that falls… but being a 7 years old kid and have this behavior of trying and practice just can suppose one thing… IMPROVE to the best… I decided to keep the falls cause i was really surprised about how god he falls and the amazing energy he had after all…

    This is video is cool, but it doesnt really capture how skilled this kid really is. He rips and gets crazy air, but this video seems to show him only falling a lot.
