French shoe manufacturer Palladium has teamed up with Los Angeles boutique Mister Freedom to create a new boot called the PALLADENIM that was inspired by the chaussure de brousse jungle boots issued by the French military during the 1950s. The PALLADENIM boot combines the traditional Palladium last, sole and panel pattern with an upper made from a vintage 12 oz. raw selvedge indigo denim that’s been sourced directly from Mister Freedom’s extensive archive. The boot also features a 100% vintage cotton stripe twill lining, hand-stamped markings on the inside lining, an original printed sock liner with artwork by Mister Freedom, and a custom molded rubber logo on the ankle. Available in limited quantities, the boot can be purchased through select stockists worldwide and at www.misterfreedom.com.
