Shepard Fairey x Mark Mothersbaugh “The Big Picture” Opening Recap

Legal troubles aside, Shepard Fairey remains busy having recently opened a new show, “The Big Picture,” at his Subliminal Projects Gallery with fellow artist and philanthropist Mark Mothersbaugh of new wave band Devo. With queues winding around the corner of the building, the opening reception was truly successful, not least because the artists were on hand to meet, greet and sign autographs. The show is varied and features works in frames and on the walls, each drawing from themes which will be familiar to fans of both contributors. “The Big Picture” will remain open to the public until Feb. 19.
