Nike Sportswear Pinnacle Flywire Windrunner

When first previewed approximately a year ago, the Nike Pinnacle Flywire Windrunner was created merely as a showcase of Nike’s production power with no slated release date. Deemed the lightest version of the Windrunner ever and quite possibly any jacket of its kind, two versions have hit retailers. The jacket’s trademark is undoubtedly the use of Flywire through the shoulders and top half of the jacket. The weight-minimizing approach extends far into the use of material as you can tell by the relative opacity of the nylon used. Breathable holes are seen on the collar area for added ventilation. Two colors in the form of gradients leave a little to be desired with hopes of some more subtle colors on the way. Available now at select Nike Sportswear accounts that carry the Pinnacle collection.

wut the heck do you need fly wire on an apparel piece for unless you are the Incredible Hulk going incognito. Unless he is building a model Brooklyn Bridge, this is the an entire waste of $400; the Incredible Hulk would spend because, although even suspension bridge cable won’t break under extreme pressure from Godzilla, he would be exposed, because the cheap fabric ripped from his Incredible growth. You won’t like me when I’m mad. Nike, please…

I have worn this windrunner, I’m not trying to be overly negative, but just to give an honest opinion, it feels like you are wearing a plastic sack. The flywire pattern is pretty awful, I love Nike shoes, but their apparel division is hurting. They must be out of their minds thinking people want to drop $400 bucks on something like this.

I might be super expensive but on the other hand super limited and the craftmanship is so good so no other brand could do it, one of a kind a statement if you like. it rocks and its worth every penny.

who the hell needs a super light weight windrunner? it doesn’t even look that good. It looks like Nike is taking the windrunner hype a little too seriously.
