The Hender Scheme atelier produces artisanal sneakers and lifestyle products that has its sole focus on superior craftsmanship. However, the brand also embraces technical innovations on its penchant for leathers, where it is looking to create waterproof pig leather. Simply put, Kashiwazaki’s fundamental interest is in creating and he encourages others to do so as well. In an interview, the Japanese designer sums up his passion by saying, “Rather than just spreading the skill, I feel that passing on this enjoyment is of greater significance and I want to continue to do so into the future.”
