JB Classics X Ride Snowboards HOUSE to HOUSE H2H Society Program

JB Classics and Ride Snowboards teamed up as part of the internal HOUSE to HOUSE H2H project. This project is part of the bigger picture with the JB Society initiative which features work between select JB accounts in Japan, Canada, Germany, the USA and Australia among others. Seen here is a special Peddler model created in an all red colorway with 3M details and Dry-Tex lining. Also included is a full collection of co-produced snowboard products between JB Classics and Ride Snowboards including the Society Program Board, Ultra Lite/Ultra Cush ALPHA Bindings and FUL Boots.

One of the biggest streetwear labels out there today, LRG, has just teamed up with the snowboard company, Forum Snowboards, and apparel company, Special Blend, to create a series of outterwear and of course, snowboards. The collaboration will include two styles of mens snowboarding jackets/pants and two styles of snowboard. Each item will be limited to only 150 pieces so if you’re looking for some snowboard gear this winter, check it out.

America’s contribution to the designer toy world, Kidrobot extended their team up with Burton to release some matching gear to go with their Custom Plus snowboard. Two designs, the Robot Head and Toy Pile Up are designs both seen on the snowboard as well. Available now through Kidrobot’s online store.

Clothing label Untold and Japanese snowboard company Scooter teamed up on a special collaboration snowboard. The snowboard features some of Scooter’s proprietary technology with a subtle black/black camo design. The actual design utilizes matte and shiny finishes to achieve the camo effect. The snowboards will retail 82,950 Yen.

Kidrobot x Burton Custom Plus 158 Snowboard

Within the snowboard and toy industries, Burton and Kidrobot both represent innovative leaders in their respective fields. Over a year in the making, the Burton Kidrobot Custom Plus 158 snowboard was the product of numerous artist and designer collaborations. The technical specs of the board are based off of the Burton Custom 158 cm board. With this blank canvas, Kidrobot founder, Paul Budnitz was given a chance to work his creative magic. The top graphic incorporates the iconic "Kidrobot head" graphic in all-over print manner while the underside graphic is a collage of some of Kidrobot’s most popular characters such as the Dunny, Smorking Labbit and Icebot. A list of artists also made appearances on the graphics such as Paul Budnitz, Frank Kozik, Dalek, Tilt and Sket One among others. The snowboard will be available in extremely limited quantities at Burton and Kidrobot flagship stores as well as select snowboard retailers. Be on the look out for more collaborative efforts in the future from these two giants.

Andrei Molodkin who was born in Boui Russia and currently lives and works in Paris, France is known for turning modern cultural concepts into crude oil sculptures. Recently he designed a t-shirt for Burton and now Burton will be releasing a snowboard utilizing the same graphic. Andrei Molodkin’s graphic for Burton is printed on the Burton Twin™ snowboard which features a mid-wide waist width that allows nice stability during transitions.
