The official opening party taking place tonight includes a series of never before available photographs for sale including personalities such as Tupac, Biggie, Snoop, James Brown, Sonic Youth and the Beastie Boys among others. Other highlights include a special bound ‘zine documenting Mortensen’s work since 2001 and recently found deadstock prints of a collaborative effort with Shepard Fairey. The exhibition will take place tonight at the Max Fish Gallery in New York.
