Sean Cliver, famous skateboard artist, is collaborating with Supreme to produce two skateboards with his own original artwork and two t-shirts for the project release. Sean Cliver started his career at Powell Peralta and has worked with the likes of World Industries, 101, Birdhouse, and Hook-ups, and has also published an abundance of books featuring thousands of skateboard graphics. The collaboration will be available at the NY and LA stores and online on June 12th, and will hit Japan stores on June 14th.
Every so often, Supreme teams up with relevant artists to create select capsules of products revolving around skate decks. As a brand rooted heavily in the skating, the deck has provided a formidable canvas for past artists such as Larry Clark, Jeff Koons, Richard Prince and Takashi Murakami to work their magic and creativity. The latest installment is a collaboration with artist Sean Cliver who is the author of the book, Disposable, which showcases over 1000 skateboard graphics from the past 30 years. In addition to the skate decks, t-shirts with the same graphic as the skate decks will be available.

The Hundreds and Brooklyn Projects will kick off the opening of their Censorship is Weak as F##k exhibition tonight with a special VIP party. The exhibition is a retrospective look at the history of skate art by Sean Cliver and Marc Mckee under the realm of World Industries. Their characteristically controversial and sarcastic art would be a highlighting point as World Industries would allow no social issue to be untouched as seen in this showcase.
