This past Friday, Footlocker’s exclusive joint retail venture, Te House of Hoops yielded an ultra limited release featuring a Kobe Bryant player edition release of the Hyperdunk. 24 pairs of the Nike Air Zoom Hyperdunk PE were on hand in 12 home Lakers colors of purple/white and 12 away colors of black/purple. Each pair came partnered with a display case including special numbering and technical specs of the sneaker. The Hyperdunk has garnered much attention as of late for not only its innovative use of Nike’s latest technological advancement, Flywire but also a strong promotion campaign spearheaded by Kobe Bryant himself.
