As a brand founded on the concept of reinventing a storied American past (one must just look at their Japan flagship store created out of old Hollywood fixtures), N. Hoolywood has looked to the Space Race of the past between the Americans and Soviets as the inspiration for their 2008 Spring/Summer collection, titled “After Sputnik”. The collection features astronaut inspired dress alongside designs based on the dress of the maintenance crew. An interesting concept to say the least.
