For spring 2008, King Stampede focused on creating clean pieces that can be worn day after day. This classic look is evident in their choice of mostly solid colored fabrics alongside a minimal use of branding details on a number of button-up shirts, selvedge denim, and an updated short fit that hits just above the knee for a more mature look. The collection also includes King Stampede’s signature New Era caps and graphic tees. This time around the graphics were designed with a “one off” approach to give a stream of consciousness feeling to the collection. The imagery was influenced by mystical thinking and the psychedelic experience of visionaries such as Aldous Huxley, Gordon Wasson and Albert Hofmann. Available now at Boundless NY.
New York based label King Stampede has just released their latest 2008 Spring collection. This season, KS offers the classic K Bolt Applique Crewneck, a Waterproof Packable Jacket in four colorways, and several new cut and sew tees with a variety of interesting prints. A number of New Eras 59/50s round out the recent drop. Available now at Boundless.
To finish off the year, King Stampede has just released two pieces as part of their 2007 Holiday Collection. The Waterproof Tech Jacket incorporates high quality technical fabrics to stop the cold rain and snow from lurking up your back, while six interchangeable velcro patches are included to mix things up. The jacket also comes with a hidden pocket to hide whatever your hiding. The latest drop also includes a remixed KS logo tee with help from Jamie Story of J Money. Available now through Boundless NY.
