Towards the late 70s, British leather company Lewis Leathers become an iconic piece among the eras rock groups. People such as Sid Vicious (soon to be Sex Pistols bass player) as well as Paul Simonon and Joe Strummer of The Clash institutionalized the unofficial uniform of rock with their leather jackets. The Lightning was the model of choice for Strummer and as a result Lewis Leathers has teamed up with Japanese rock influenced label Hysteric Glamour to recreate the jacket.
