With the mobile world turned upside down with the release of the iPhone, every touch-based phone since Apple’s hot seller has been dubbed the “iPod Killer” however few have lived up to the billing. Enter the newly announced HTC Diamond. Utilizing Windows Mobile 6.1, the phone features VGA Screen, quad-band HSPDA 7.2 and other iPhone-esque features. Despite initial reports that the interface is a little slow, the bugs should be worked out by the time a release date rolls around. No word yet on a stateside release date.
