The latest feature from the Japanese online lifestyle magazine, Honeyee, is the TT + TKO Project. Sponsored by Audi, Honeyee has interviewed five creators from the Japanese scene including an architect, a musician, a fashion designer, a calligrapher, and a music producer. The interviews talk about each person’s unique relationship with the city Tokyo as well as other subjects such as the internet, magazines, products and more. The first interview with tastemaker Hiroshi Fujiwara is up so you can check it out here. (Unfortunately it’s in Japanese)
Uniform Experiment is a new Japanese label by global trend setter Hiroshi Fujiwara and the creative director of SOPH., Hirofumi Kiyonaga. Together they have created a more mature line of clothing which involves suits and ties that are targeted towards the Japanese streetwear crowd that have grown up. Honeyee has conducted an interview on the duo about their thoughts and inspiration behind Uniform Experiment. Two big Japanese personalities, Hiroshi Fujiwara (of Fragment Design) and Hirofumi Kiyonaga (of Sophnet.) are at the forefront of a new collection titled uniform experiment. The more mature collection features sweaters, suits, pants, ties and other accessories created in painstaking detail. Here’s a quick preview, with more to come for the 2008 Spring season.
