It looks like Stussy has decided to team up with some lead designers and creative people in Japan including the likes of Hiroshi Fujiwara for different models of glasses. Here’s the Kiyonga Model which is made for Soph.’s new Osaka store. Hirofumi Kiyonaga is Sophnet. and F.C.R.B’s creative director. These brands are considered some of the top streetwear brands in Japan. Three colors are available each with Kiyonaga’s name etched onto it. The glasses will be available at Soph. stores in Japan on March 20th.

The latest feature from the Japanese online lifestyle magazine, Honeyee, is the TT + TKO Project. Sponsored by Audi, Honeyee has interviewed five creators from the Japanese scene including an architect, a musician, a fashion designer, a calligrapher, and a music producer. The interviews talk about each person’s unique relationship with the city Tokyo as well as other subjects such as the internet, magazines, products and more. Uniform Experiment is a new Japanese label by global trend setter Hiroshi Fujiwara and the creative director of SOPH., Hirofumi Kiyonaga. Together they have created a more mature line of clothing which involves suits and ties that are targeted towards the Japanese streetwear crowd that have grown up. Honeyee has conducted an interview on the duo about their thoughts and inspiration behind Uniform Experiment. Fortunately, the interview is done in English so most of us can read it so check out Honeyee for the interview.
