Stussy, Hectic and New Balance have had a history of working together on sneaker mainly on the New Balance MT580 model. However, this is the second time they have chosen the New Balance CM670 as the silhouette for this upcoming collaboration sneaker. The shoes are relatively simple in design but details shown in the insole. There will be two colorways available (legion blue/gold and navy/grey) will be available at the realmad Hectic stores and Stussy stores on February 23rd for 16,590 Yen.
With long and storied past in Japan, hectic has always held a strong connection with streetwear. Under the guidance of pro skater Yoppi, hectic rose to popularity resulting in consistent collaborations with labels such as UNDFTD, New Balance, Stussy and Nike. A look at their 2008 Spring collection includes a nice mix of bright colors with more subdued color palettes while keeping a certain casual and easy going look to their line. Nike has recently collaborated with the Japanese street label Hectic to produce an Air Force 1 which features a mix of crazy materials including croc skin and ostrich skin in an all red colorway. In conjunction with this release, Nike has also created a t-shirt which has the Hectic x Nike sneaker draped across the shoulder. This Air Force 1 shoulder tee will cost 6,090 Yen and will be available at the Nike1Love store in Japan.
The Japanese label Hectic or Realmad Hectic is probably best known for their collaboration sneakers with New Balance on the MT580 model. Here are some new pieces from the brand that will be coming out on January 2nd, 2008. These new pieces uses simple colorways like red, blue, purple and brown as well as the usual black and white. Japanese label Hectic has recently released two new pieces for the Fall 2007 season using traditional forest camo. The Mountain Parka includes a user friendly design which allows for tons of storage within the pockets. A matching fitted camo cap is also included featuring a “MADFUCKINGHECTIC” embroidery rotating around the back. Available now at BigOl’ Store.
