Bearbrick Worldwide Tour 2007: Triumphant March

With each passing toy event and exhibition comes a wave of special exclusive products as part of the festivities. The upcoming Medicom Toy Bearbrick Worldwide Tour 2007: Triumphant March is no exception. The special releases have been unveiled and include some big names. The releases include a BWWT (Bearbrick Worldwide Tour) Mastermind Japan 1000%, BWWT H.R. Giger 100% & 400%, BWWT Shag 400% and finally a set of five BWWT 100% Bearbricks. Look for these during the Worldwide Tour set to commence on November 23rd.

David Flores x Medicom Toy x XLarge Project Volume 3

XLarge and San Francisco based artist David Flores will be releasing volume 3 of their DF Project with Medicom Toy. The spring 2007 release was a 100% Bearbrick whereas the upcoming Bearbrick will come in a 400% size designed by David Flores. Also included with this series will be a Bear full zip up hoodie. The 400% Bearbrick will cost ¥6,090 while the Bear hoodie will cost ¥18,900.

Revolver x Medicom Toy 100% Bearbrick

Japanese clothing label Revolver recently collaborated with SO ME, artist and art director of Ed Banger Records. The project revolved around the design of two 100% Medicom Toy Bearbricks. The designs are based off of SO ME’s Paper Bag Boy concept. Available now through the Revolver online shop. Each toy can be purchased seperately for ¥1,470 (approximately $13 USD). MACKDADDY 10th Anniversary 100% Bearbrick

MACKDADDY 10th Anniversary 100% Bearbrick

To commemorate MACKDADDY’s 10th Anniversary, a special edition Medicom Toy Bearbrick was created. The 100% figure is covered in a special fuzzy felt with the further addition of a polka dot pattern. The MACKDADDY 10th Anniversary logo can be seen on the chest. The figure comes complete in a special box packaging. Available now at eproze.

Futura Laboratories Atomic Ring Tee with Bearbrick

Futura Laboratories has teamed up with Medicom Toys to create a special t-shirt and Bearbrick package. Each Atomic Ring shirt will include a black 100% Bearbrick with the same Atomic Ring design. The t-shirt is available in four different colors, black, white, red and blue. This release is part of the 2008 Winter/Spring Collection and will debut mid-March. This year’s Medicom Toy Bearbrick Worldwide Tour for 2007 is set to take place later this month in Tokyo. The Parco Factory will be the site for arguably one of the greatest Bearbrick exhibitions around and will surely boast an impressive range of one of the most popular designer toys in recent memory. The event will begin on Friday, November 23rd and conclude on Monday, December 10th.

Levi's x kennyswork x Medicom Toy Bearbrick 100%

Toy maker kennysworks has teamed up with Medicom Toys and Levi’s to create a Bearbrick toy based off of kennyswork’s iconic Copperhead-18 series of toys. The toys by kennyswork are often created in painstaking detail, some of these qualities can also be seen on this Bearbrick. These are set to release at the end of November. Medicom Toy Bearbrick Daft Punk 2007

As part of the upcoming December 5th, 2007 release of House artist Daft Punk’s upcoming Alive 2007 album, a series of Bearbricks are set to release in a limited edition pack. This album pack includes two 100% Bearbricks and will only be available in Japan with quantities of 3,000 pieces. Medicom Toy has just unveiled their latest Bearbrick collaborations for the upcoming Holiday season. Among the crossovers include the Sex Pistols (400% & 1000%), David Flores/XLarge (100% & 400%), MACKDADDY (100%), Japanese hip-hop group Nitro Microphone Underground (100% & 400%), Marimekko (50% key chain), Fossil Watches (100%), Plaza London (100%) and AG Stars (100% & 400%). The first batch of these will hit stores next month.
