Artist Ruth Patir and curators Mira Lapidot and Tamar Margalit are representing Israel at the international art show.
From spatial collaborations and retrospective exhibitions to major pavilions led by indigenous artists, the 2024 edition is slated to be the largest Biennale to date.
Going on its 60th iteration, the upcoming event will shine a spotlight on marginalized artists from around the globe.
The forthcoming exhibition will be entitled ‘Nomader’ and curated by Alison M. Gingeras.
Her upcoming solo exhibition seeks to “remember those who are on the margins, deterritorialised, invisibilised, imprisoned, and whose territorial rights have been violated.”
Coinciding with Frieze Seoul 2023, the initiative invites onlookers to submit the scents that they believe make up the Korean Peninsula.

“I see this invitation as recognition of and a platform for all those I have collaborated with over the decades.”
