Starting this Holiday 2007, with releases covering four consecutive seasons, Nike SB will be releasing four different shoes to make up the Four Guardians Pack. The Four Guardian shoes are based on the Japanese belief that there are four guardian animals, each representing a direction, color and season. Each shoe comes with a lacelock corresponding to the animal it represents, and will be released alongside a matching t-shirt. Nike SB also designed a jacket featuring all Four Guardians, as pictured above. Be on the lookout for these new Classic, Regime, Zoom Tre and Abbington models at your local SB dealer over the upcoming year.

The concept behind Comme des Garcons’ PLAY line is a collection of basic items based on original forms or prototypes. PLAY items feature the iconic red heart logo which is designed by New York based artist Flip Pagowski. Filip Pagowski has produced a new series of ‘PLAYBIRD’ t-shirts featuring new drawings. The t-shirts will be exhibited and sold through HUT BOX at Dover Street Market and Comme des Garcons stores worldwide starting this month. Also, a BLACK PLAY concept now adds to the existing PLAY line with a total of 7 mens and 7 womens t-shirts featuring the black heart logo,which is new to Dover Street Market.

The Sneaker Pimps exhibition was recently featured in Shanghai, China and this time they had live installations from artists like Dave White and SBTG. Like many other Sneaker Pimp shows, there were displays of many rare sneakers and artwork. Celebrities and people from the industry such as Sam Lee of Subcrew, Bigz of Clot, and Taiwan R&B star Vanness Wu was also in attendance. Once again, Sneaker Pimps kicked off their Sneaker Pimps Asian tour with a blast.
Nike SB has been quiet but has constantly produced many creative products and packs. Here are some new samples of the Nike Dunk High SB, Nike Blazer SB, and the Nike Dunk Low SB. The dunk is dubbed the Freddy Krueger dunks which is also apart of the upcoming “Horror Movie” pack. It will be interesting to see how this pack unfolds and to see which horror movie classics the sneakers will be based on.

The Sakura flower, Japan’s national flower, widely represents the Japanese culture. Reebok and Atmos have teamed up for a new collection that takes inspiration from the Sakura flower. This Sakura Collection includes three sneakers, the Insta Pump Fury, ERS Racer, and CL LTHR. All the sneakers feature the red, brown, pink colorway, which represents the color of the flower and the tree itself. These are scheduled for a late June release and will be released in limited quantity.
The past weekend marked the opening of the new Bape store in Taipei. This location is the third in Taiwan and in Bape fashion, there were crowds of people waiting in-line for limited edition product. Designed by Wonderwall, this two-story location features the signature Bape Sta conveyor display. Bape fans in the Taipei area should definitely visit this new location.

Stussy Direct has updated their website with the latest collaboration tees and their regular spring line. Included in this update is the Stussy x Union tee.
