Originally showcased during last year’s Nike x Stussy World Tour comes the release of some upcoming Nike Hybrid Trainer Dunk Frees. These sneakers feature a true mash up that include the Dunk and the Air Trainer upper superimposed onto the sole of the Free. These two sneakers show simple colorways in white and black accented with a bit of camo. It is interesting to see how the camo is also seen on the midsole as well.

Huf recently unveiled (via Strictly Fitteds) their latest round of New Era fitted caps. The two style of caps include a lumberjack plaid print available in the yellow, blue, and green. These lumberjack prints also included a small row of Huf ‘H’ logo’s alongside the outer rim of the cap. The other release comes in the form of the round “Subway” Huf logo. The Subway caps feature more conventional colorways and are available in a black NY Mets colorway, a black/white colorway, and a black/navy blue colorway. Check your local Huf stockists soon.
The Hundreds recently unveiled a special sneak peek at one of their upcoming Summer 2007 pieces of denim. Contrary to previous releases from The Hundreds, this upcoming pair look to be a pair of washed denim that will feature the use of patches. We previously did a little spot regarding the Michael Lau Mr. Shoe Museum event in Beijing. Here’s a look at some of the special releases for this event that includes a white on white Air Force 1 with a traditional Chinese styled emblem on the heel. Also, due to Michael Lau’s involvement we see the creation of a baseball cap wearing Mr. Shoe figure in pewter.

The Alife Sessions represents a series of performances put on by Alife and held in the courtyard of Alife Rivington Club in New York City. The inaugural event featured John Mayer with the most recent 3rd event featuring rapper Bun B and friends. Aside from Bun B, other performers included Kay Slay, Papoose and Talib Kweli. The event also featured the likes of various celebrities both in and outside the sneaker community. The theme of the event was purple and subsequently much of the design incorporated that color. Look forward to further Alife Sessions in the future.

A furry of Air Jordan 1 releases are imminent at the end of the month and included within those releases is this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro themed after the “Eastside”. The Eastside theme is one of four sneakers naturally based off the four corners of the US (westside, eastside, northside & southside). This white/blue/red colorway features a textured leather upper alongside a translucent red outsole. The most interesting feature of the outsole is the depiction of various Air Jordan logo’s from the past. These will release May 26th.

The Mr. Hahn Ningyo vinyl figure designed by Joe Hahn of Linkin Park and produced by Super Rad Toys will officially be released tomorrow Monday, May 14th. Joe Hahn himself will be signing the dolls at Suru tomorrow night at 7pm.

World famous Sneaker boutique & label Undefeated has just released some new products from their Spring 2007 line. The new items gives a different flavor than previous items that were released especially when looking at the new Undefeated camo pattern. Available now at Figure and Undefeated stores.
Here’s the latest triple collaboration between street label Xlarge, magazine Vice and photographer Tim Barber. The two t-shirts which comes in a vacuum package features work from Tim’s collection of photographs and will be available at Xlarge shops on May 26th.
Tim Barber, a 28 year old photographer from Massachusetts is currently based in New York. He started an online gallery Tiny Vices in 2005 which is a website that exhibits more than 80 artists’ works. You can find more about the gallery and Tim at tinyvices.com.
As many folks on various messages boards and blogs are saying, the Vans Half Cab is the new Dunk SB. But whatever your opinion is, here’s a look at some of the upcoming Vans sneakers. There are of course many new colorways for the Vans Half Cab. In addition, there will be a collaboration between Vans and Taka Hayashi who is a Japanese artist and graphic designer that has worked with companies like Union and Stussy.
