Here are some updates for adidas’ future releases in July and August. In July, there will be the Superstar Vin Lux and Pro Model Vin Lux which features a “deluxe” leather upper with an elephant nubuck emboss. Besides the shoes, there will be a classic Rasta Jacket made with Satin as well. In August, there will be the Superstar Vin Lux, Pro Model Vin Lux and jacket. This time, it’ll feature “camo” that was found on a vintage adidas ski jacket in Japan.

RMC (Red Monkey Company) and the actor/director/designer/singer Eric Kot in Hong Kong were invited by McDonald’s to design the new uniform for their staff. They have created a very nice pair of jeans using the 1001 model with their signature tsunami pattern on the right back pocket and the McDonald’s logo on the other pocket. You will probably need to be a McDonald’s employee in order to get them.

Arkitip has newly released the MTP Fl-ye silk screen print on acid free uncoated paper by Matzu. It is limited to 100 copies only, and each of them is signed and numbered by the artist.
Matzu MTP interprets the contemporary art movement by applying Japanese techniques and sensibility to his large-scale paintings through brush strokes and iconographies, as well as color palette and the use of negative space. He is alone in his ability to explore the edges of cultural identity. His works flirts with the boundary between traditional Japanese art and urban American influences. And he pursues that inspiration with tremendous exuberance and a unique visual language that is filled with human emotion.
