The Downtown Don himself Aron recently did an interview with Cliquenmove. In it he talks about the current state of street wear, the impact that New York has had on his life and future aspirations. He also offers a lot of background information regarding the New York scene detailing some of the trends that have made the NY scene amongst the strongest and varied. Interview can be seen on channel 9.

June 13th is a collaboration project between Hiroki Nakamura of Visvim, Jose Parla, and Dr. Romanelli, of which we’ve spoken on previously.
This is the latest photo of the June 13th Visvim FBT, with the colored leather patchwork skirt by Dr. Romanelli complete. Jose Parla will now be hand painting the skirts one-by-one, out in LA. The attention to detail on these shoes is unparalled – check out that “XIII” hole pattern on the toebed!
The June 13th exhibition will open on June 13th at 181 Martel in Los Angeles.

For their 3rd artist collaboration of 2006, Mekanism invited German artist Katharina Grosse to create not one, but 100 limited-edition skateboards. The decks are individually painted with a spray gun, making each skateboard a unique, original piece of art.
Several of the boards are now available at Je Reve Que Je Dors.

Bounty Hunter has just released a really hot shirt dubbed “Sliru Kun”. BXH is the vinyl figure master that developed into fashion/toy icon in Japan. They have been releasing very cool designs for the past few years. Check out more from BXH on their site Bounty Hunter.

A Bathing Ape has posted up a new section to their website for the ladies. This is the new Apee section featuring all of Bape’s infamous designs for the ladies. Apee has been growning rapidly beyond Japan. Currently Busy Works Shops in NYC and Busy Work Shops in Hong Kong carry Apee as well as the official Bapy stores in Japan. Ladies be on the look out for the newest additions by Apee.

We posted the Footscape wovens by Nike and The Hideout a couple days ago, and now here are some better images of them. The images once again show the beauty of the shoes and according to Journal Inc, “There will be less of one colour than the other, The Hideout logo is on limited pairs only…It is slated to be available late summer.”
