Nike and Rime Magazine presents ‘Stadium to the Streets’, an event that will feature Nike collaborations with local Los Angeles Designers including Alicia Lawhon, Edoardo Chavarin, Freddie Rojas, Frecuecia Modulada, Lucky, Miguel de LA Barracuda and Patrick Martinez. To celebrate the 40 years of the Action Man brand, various artists and designers including Maharishi, Michael Lau, Brothers Free, James Jarvis and Pete Fowler were invited to customize their own version of the 1966 Action Man. If you are interested in the figures, you will be able to get them via an auction that started on May 26th. You will be able to bid at AM4040.

Medicom Toy was first established in 1996. 10 years have passed and this year marks their 10th year anniversary. For this event, Medicom Toy will be hosting an exhibition in Japan at Parco Museum and Logo Gallery which will commence on June 24th. More information will be provided later.

Medicom has released the newest movie set Kubricks/Bearbricks for the films Pirates of the Caribbean and Superman. Each set will include a Kubrick in the form of the main character (Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean and Superman) along with a Bearbrick that has the movie logo on the chest. Check your local Medicom dealers for these toys soon!

The Nike Air Jordan Trunner was one of my favorite shoes when it first came out six years ago. It originally came out in 2000 and when I first saw it, the woven pattern along with the nubuck material instantly captured my eyes. Now, the Nike Air Jordan Trunners are being re-released but with some modifications such as the use of higher quality material. However, they have kept the original colors which will definitely please fans of the original shoe.

This is the Nike Air Captivate Aggro LAM sample which is in a very interesting colorway. But what’s more interesting is the material used for the sneaker. It appears that hemp material will be used for the midsole. No information on any release date yet.
