We have seen Nike transform some classics into hiking boot styled sneakers before. Now they are using the same concept on the Air Force III HI’s. There’s not much difference here from the original sneaker concept except for the use of heavy duty lace rings and hooks as opposed to holes, which you can consider a hiking boot feature. These also feature premium leather along with an olive and orange colorway. Get your backpacks ready, it’s time for some hiking.

One ofNike’s famous old-school Basketball sneaker, the Air Force III Hi is going to be retroed by using premium materials. Nubuck tongue, carbon fibre patterned mud guard, embossed canvas, patent – you name it. The colour match is pretty eye-catching too. Definitely going to be another future classic.

Here’s another sample for the Nike 2006 Holiday season. The tox box, side panels as well as the Swoosh are in a felt material and the shoe is in a nice yellow/purple colorway. More colorways will be coming out in the same material combination.

Nike’s Considered range, is definitely one of the most considerate range in their catalogue. Using all kinds of recycled and organic material to reassemble some already known models. This time they have brought the Considered Humaras and the 2K5s out.
The weight of them are simply unbelieveable, although not as light as a pair of Mayfly, but it has got some competition with the Nike Free series.

There has been some controversy surrounding one of the sneakers being released as part of the Adicolor Project. One design, created by Barry McGee for the Huf sneakers in the Yellow Series, is garnering some backlash from the Asian community. The reason is because of the ‘Ray Fong’ character McGee made as a stitch design on the sneaker’s tongue. It depicts the face of a stereotypical Asian character – a buck-toothed, bowlcut, slanty eyed face – a depiction that is not exactly acceptable these days by the Asian community.
