Remember the Sneaker Activism petition? Hundreds of people have already signed the petition! In addition, a newspaper in Canada have written an article about the movement.
“Almost everyone dreams of walking in a movie star’s shoes. But for growing ranks of “sneaker activists,” fantasy is not enough.
Inspired by their favourite film-based footwear, people around the globe are lobbying shoe manufacturers to produce copies of runners worn by the likes of Uma Thurman, Bill Murray and Michael J. Fox.
At least three petitions have been launched this year, each spawned by sneakerheads hoping Hollywood cobblers will sell them their soles.”

Crooked Tongues has updated their site with the Nike SB “Don’t Panic” Team Editions. According to Crooked Tongues, the “Don’t Panic” tag on the tongue refers to Douglas Adams’ original radio show, “The Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”. Sam Barrat from Exit skate shop in the UK has designed this shoe in a great colorway and has included materials like tumbled leather and nubuck. The shoes will be released in December and may even come with a SB towel.
