In a special pair of adidas Superstar 80s, Neighborhood’s Shinsuke Takizawa face can be seen replacing the usual tongue logo. The two parties are no strangers to each other with previous projects including the hyped up release of a NBHD x Gazelle Superstar. These will remain strictly a special 1 of 1 pair of Superstars.
NVSBL Tailors was originally highlighted back in March as a brand that represented the spreading of the seed on United Front founder Matt George’s account. The Canadian entrepreneur continues to diversify his portfolio on a higher level with many projects successfully covering many levels and offering a clear and concise choice for consumers of different likes and tastes. The Nike Air Structure Triax has been one of Nike’s greatest performers in recent memory. Although many perhaps weren’t down with its original inception, the Triax still remains relevant almost 20 years later. Aside from the use of suede and leather, the toebox among other areas seem to feature ripstop nylon. No word yet on a release date except for the Holiday season, however other reports are saying this might be a Euro exclusive.

To coincide with the release of the St. Pauli x Nike Dunk High, sneaker store Purchaze has initiated a contest with entry available through any sneaker purchase. The winner will receive a St. Pauli x Nike accessories pack including a St. Pauli scarf, metallic white St. Pauli logo shoe stand, black stencil and pendant. The contest runs from May 28th to June 5th at Purchaze with a release date for the St. Pauli Dunk Highs set for May 30th.

Converse has released a new collection of Chuck Taylor All-Stars as part of their 100th anniversary re-visitation of some of the brands most prolific models of the past. Some of the models are not exact representations but rather homages to their earlier predecessors. The models include the Gachapin (1989 Conasaur Collection), Glam (1984 Fashion All Stars), Zebra In Dark (1987 Glow in the Dark) and the All Star SB (1991 Canvas All Star Specialty Collection). All the All Stars seen here will release in July.

Rumors of a Jordan Brand skate shoe have come to fruition in the form of the upcoming Flipsyde. The creation of an official skate model marks an ironic return for the Jordan legacy as the same sneakers worn by his Airness would often make their way onto the feet of skaters in the 80s. The white patent leather boot includes multi colored straps, with cork heel counter and suede lining. Available now at oki-ni.
Continuing with their various collaborations, Wacko Maria teamed up with Porter to come up with some bags including a messenger bag, a tote bag, and a limited edition zip wallet. The messenger and tote bags come in similar style prints that have a very strong Jamaican flavor with palm trees, ocean, guitar, and different flowers. The zip wallet comes in two styles, one with cow print and the other with leopard print. Available now at Beams.
