Each offering their own distinct style, a Crooks & Castles x Rocksmith collaboration has yielded some interesting results with one brand inspired by the notion of crooks while the other looking to Tokyo and 90s pop culture as the benefactor of its designs. The Lumberjack t-shirt features a flannel print, buttoned up at the top to reveal a white t-shirt. Available mid-May at select Rocksmith stockists.
Supra Footwear will be releasing a very limited edition Skytop on Saturday, May 10th. To give you an idea of how limited these are, only 11 retailers in all of the United States will be receiving these Skytops, with 30 pairs being allocated to each shop. The predominantly silver and white shoes called, “413 Silver,” will be the first release from a new series of footwear simply titled, “413.” The name of this new series derives from Factory 413, which is located in Los Angeles, California. A list of retailers can be seen after the jump for these Skytops set to release on May 10th.
As Hirofumi Kiyonaga’s crown jewels, the creation of SOPHNET., FCRB and Uniform Experiment represented a neat and precise way to offer varying degrees of refinement and style. Although there is some overlap amongst the three brands, many would say SOPHNET. is situated in the center as FCRB and Uniform Experiment offer something more casual and refined respectively. Here’s a look at some of SOPHNET. and FCRB’s offerings for 2008 spring/summer. FCRB leads the way with obvious sports influences while SOPHNET. comes through with polos and knits. Three styles grace Nike’s 2008 summer footwear pack titled Summer Hoops which include a series of lesser seen offerings such as the Huarache B, Court Force Hi and Sky Force Mid. The white and khaki uppers are highlighted by the sparing use of African inspired patterns. Available now at select Nike dealers.
In celebration of the Beijing 2008 Olympics Jordan Brand is releasing this special edition Jordan VI. The colorway is obviously inspired by the Olympic rings, but the shoe also features other interesting details. There is patent leather used throughout the shoe, and there is prominent design stitched onto the toebox. The MRSP of the shoe is reported to be $150, and it should be releasing on June 7th, 2008.

With so much anticipation building, it looks like the Nike Skateboarding Camp finally decided to release the much hyped New Castle Brown Ale inspired Dunk Lows. Originally rumored to be a part of the Beer Pack consisting of a Mickey’s Malt Liquor Dunk Hi, Dos Equis URL, Pabst Blue Ribbon Angus, and Heineken Dunk Low, of which only the Heineken and Angus released some years ago. The pack was eventually scrapped due to legal issues. These are now available as a pre-order at CCS with a price of $110.

As a tribute to one of the great skate flicks of all time, Nike SB has looked to Powell Peralta’s Public Domain skate video (installment IV of the Bones Brigade series). Popularity and notoriety was gained largely in part to the strong cast of skaters who would go on to carve out solid professional careers in the skateboard world. The classic gradient design used for the poster is replicated on the tongue. No word yet on a release date.

Teaming up with Japanese BMX group 430, rarely talked about Saucony and their lifestyle division have released three colors of their Master Court 3 Hi. With stylings similar to the Vans SK8-Hi, Saucony has incorporated some strong highlighting features include patent leather and choice use of colors. Available now at Mita.
With a fledging Chinese market before us, Milk Beijing is among the first Chinese entities to collaborate with Stussy on classic Stussy imagery. The Stussy Skull is revamped inspirations relating back to traditional masks worn in Beijing opera. Two styles are available in both black and white.
