adidas has looked to Chinese pianist Lang Lang to offer his personal aesthetic on adidas’ classic Gazelle model. The end result is definitely noteworthy as the never old black/gold color combo gets revived with stunning results. Other than the graphics on the heel, the end product is extremely clean and wearable. Available later this year in June with a suggested retail price of $85 USD.

The latest bold concept to come out of the Puma creative lab is this upcoming Puma Suede 4th of July Firecracker Pack. Created with a strong likeness to your typical 4 of July activities, the monotone uppers feature a detailed tongue label complete with mock fuse and an image on the heel. If you aren’t down for the shenanigans of a concept like this, at the root of each pair is still a versatile pair of sneakers. No word on a release date, but typical of holiday-related releases, except these to drop in June.

Bape founder Nigo was on hand today as Bape Hong Kong was at the center of two huge celebrations. As previewed yesterday in a series of t-shirts, both the 15th anniversary of Bape as well as the 2nd anniversary of Bape Hong Kong were given tribute. Three different styles of tees were on hand including a special t-shirt available for signing by Nigo. This should mark the end of an extensive visit by Nigo and crew in Hong Kong as this trip has seen not only the celebration of various Bape anniversaries but the throwing of the successful World Wide Bape Heads 2008 Show as well.
Here is a look at the new Jun Takahashi’s creation for Undercover. This new tee will be introduced to the public on April 19th, during “The sound and the Fury” event held by Undercover Japan at Laputa Garden in Matsuyama. The idea of Brigada eyewear was first conceived in early 2006 by Jim Greco, Andrew Reynolds, Terry Kennedy and Erik Ellington. Since there were no skater owned and operated sunglass brands the four got together. They came up with the name Brigada, sketched up a logo and gathered up all the ideas for shades they would like to see made. Before they knew it they had something real and people were starting to take notice. Fast forward to 2008 and Brigada eyewear is set to launch their debut collection. Consisting of nine different styles, including pro models for each of the four skaters. The glasses all feature spring fit hinges, 100% UV protection, and a hand-polished finish. Available Summer 2008 at select skate shops worldwide.
Generally described as having bright colors and loud graphics, streetwear’s style is actually very fitting for kids, and Fuct is one of the first to jump on that market. Here we give you a preview of Fuct’s 2008 Fall Children’s collection. The collection includes tees, long sleeves, hoodies, and jackets. As usual, Fuct puts in their own style and created some pieces that might be hard to get past the parents.

“Things turn gray” is the slogan for the following Freshjive t-shirts for Spring ‘08. While other brands are putting out brightly colored one-tones, Fresh Jive is putting out slightly more pessimistic and low-key images and colors. The “Lords of Los Angeles” Tees seem to refer to a “Warriors” type theme and the old style gangs concept we saw during winter. If you look carefully there is also a “Raiders-esque” logo on the sleeve, the favoured logo of LA OG’s. Themes overall are of rebellion and deliquency; vintage bike racing, punk collages and axe diplomacy. See more after the jump.
