A guilt-less Madfoot! has released an all new collaborative sneaker with fellow Japanese brands Five O and Hard Hit. The sneaker has strong influences taken from iconic and well loved Vans SK8-HI albeit this effort is not without its own details. Available now at Dedue.
In a special gathering of friends and close associates, jeffstaple previewed his 2008 Staple fall collection. Conceding that his line has grown leaps and bounds and begun a journey of maturation, we look forward to this collection. Is there a Staple x Honda Zoomer scooter (or some sort of vehicular transport) on the way?
Devilock has introduced their 2008 summer collection with this lookbook. The collection seems to have taken a new approach and theme with this collection as it lacks that certain hard edge Rocker aesthetic that has become associated with the brand. Instead, many of the designs embody a certain softer stance. Available soon at eproze.
Taking a sustainable approach to this latest release, Japanese brand Cycle : CLS incorporated recycled polyester and cotton fibers in the creation of their Reversible Swingtop Jacket. The water repellent jacket is also marked by a diagonal zip pocket across the chest. The reversible nature of the jacket yields a windbreaker on the other side. Two colors are available now at the honeyee Store.
In her stint as blog writer for the New York Times’ The Moment, Colette founder Sarah previews an upcoming collaboration with womens brand Married to the Mob on a Reebok Freestyle. Sarah goes on to say that the “lips” motif is quickly becoming popular imagery which is evident with the liberal use of Married to the Mob’s signature lips in full force on these Freestyles. Perhaps overshadowed by all the surrounding collabo tees dropping in recent days, The Hundreds has also rolled out a small assortment of socks. The colorful socks include some classic TH letter work as well as a paisley print design. Available now at The Hundreds flagship stores.
The last piece of the 4 part puzzle between Upper Playground and adidas’ “You Ain’t Gotta Lie to Kick It” collection comes in the form of Brazilian artist Herbert Baglione. Baglione’s previous experiences have included work with the FIFTY24SF gallery. No definitive date has been set but we’ve been hearing something in the 2nd half of this year.

The Original Fake website has been updated with a new graphic of the KAWS Companion in the missionary position with the Grim Weeper. This artwork by the artist KAWS most likely has the hidden meaning “Fuck Death”. This interesting graphic will be used on an upcoming t-shirt from KAWS’ brand, Original Fake. Look for this tee to drop at Original Fake in Japan or at Original Fake dealers.
While there appears to be a notable change in direction for Bape, one thing seems to remain constant is their characteristic colorful patent Bapestas. Baby Milo emblazoned Bapestas are accompanied by apparel releases this weekend such as a reversible tee, khakis and hoodies. Available this Saturday at Bape Hong Kong.

With a name like Monsieur T. there are some obvious French influences at work for the Portland based brand. With inspirations derived from the brands roots growing up skating and snowboarding in France, the collection looks to talented artists as part of their seasonal offerings. Look for their 2008 spring/summer collection to hit stores starting next month.
