Recently celebrating their 10th anniversary, Japan’s hip-hop inspired MACKDADDY has put forth a new collection of goods for their 2008 Spring collection. As always, MACKDADDY ventures down a much more colorful route with their apparel which can also be seen in their Spike Logo Head jewelry. The collection is available now through eproze.
Not so much known for his prowess with the lumber, Jordan Brand has still gone down that route to pay tribute to Michael Jordan’s time spent in between the ball court on the baseball diamond. The Quickstrike “Opening Day” package includes two styles of the Air Jordan 1 with pinstripe and baseball detailing, each priced at $105 USD respectively. There is also talk of a #45 Chicago White Sox t-shirt as well that will release alongside the sneakers.

In our eyes, Australian label PAM has done a great job with their 2008 Spring theme of “Space Face”. Incorporating a relatively obscure theme of outer space has proven none too difficult for PAM. On the heels of some earlier features, new styles include t-shirts, jewelry and jackets. One of the most interesting pieces is the Alien jacket, made of paper fibers which is meant to be cleaned solely through a good wipe down with a cloth. These pieces are available now through Provider.
Japanese retailer Freak’s Store has been on a tear lately as the collaboration happy Japanese put forth another release. Just early this month Freak’s Store dropped a joint with Rhythm. This most recent release looks towards British football turned lifestyle brand Admiral on their Oxford Hi. Two colors, blue and red are available with little intricate details throughout. The 1987 Reebok offering the CL/Classic has been released in an all new “Clean Pack”. The collection of sneakers all feature monochromatic colorways albeit for the white midsole and gum sole. Most popular colors can be seen including black, white, orange, yellow, green, red and purple. Available now at Mita.
First Boat Shoes and now this? The Billionaire Boys Club has really outdone themselves this season with a pretty nice collection which emphasizes on the theme of luxury and extravagance. This new BBC Monogram Bag mimics a bag you might see in a hi-end boutique like Gucci but luckily it doesn’t mimic the price. If you’re not ready for the Prada’s and LV’s yet, then you could consider this bag priced at 55,440 Yen bag. Available now at BBC | Ice Cream stores.
Hi-top sneakers are the craze this year with brands like Reebok, Supra and Puma contributing to the popularity of this style. Here’s Gravis’ take on the hi-top sneaker which results in the Gravis Lowdown. This particular model feature a mainly white colorway with perforated leather. Want to look like Kanye this summer? On February 25th, Nike officially announced their collaboration with all American denim brand, Levi’s. This project called “23 / 501” will include limited edition items including sneakers, denim, t-shirts, caps and more. The package will be available only in 23 “markets” starting March 1st. In a swarm of fitted caps, their collection of classic styles have been a well needed insurgence of options. Styles seen here include the straw Castor, the felt Stout and twill Rogue.
