The Changes have designed a new range of t-shirts specially for Chinese New Year 2008, the year of the Rat. The Changes consists of Shauna Toohey and Misha Hollenbach of Perks & Mini, as well as Fergadelic of TONITE and Skate-Thing. Each band member contributed one t-shirt design based on the Rat theme. To pay tribute to the heroics of Chinese athletes at the 1984 Olympics, Nike has released a series of classic kicks inspired by the athletes who achieved success back in Los Angeles. The Chinese market exclusives include the Air Max 1, Vintage Cortez, Dunk Trainer High, Court Force Mid and Legend Low. No word yet on a release date.

Local Hong Kong brands CLOT and Nomadic Lorry recently teamed up on a cap. The collaboration was born out of Edison (CLOT) and Raymond’s (Nomadic Lorry) love of caps and represent a first cap release from each brand. The cap incorporates Nomadic’s brand statement “For Pragmatist, Not Fashion Victim”, with the CLOT ‘C’ seen within the Nomadic name. Available at Juice and Deem, both located in Hong Kong.
