As part of skate label DC Shoes’ ongoing Double Label project, they have created an interesting product by enlisting the help of a fellow sneaker brand in JB Classics to design a special package of shoes and products. The finished product utilized the imagery from tree rings to symbolize the project. Custom laser etching can be seen as a tribute to the growth rings of trees. The soles also include a growth ring tread. The accompanying t-shirts and New Eras will be based off the same theme.
Rei Kawakubo’s COMME des GARÇONS fashion label has just opened their third GUERRILLA STORE in Poland’s capital Warsaw. COMME des GARÇONS’ popularity can largely be rooted in their avant grade designs. Their GUERRILA STORE concept involves the opening of a store for a period of 1 year with a minimal renovation budget. The location for this latest endeavor was a former fruit store in a Stalinist era building. The GUERRILLA STORE is currently open for business.

After much delay and confusion, the Nike Transformers Pack has begun to hit select stores. Original suggestions had pegged the Air Trainer III (the first model originally seen) as being scrapped due to conflicts in licensing. adidas has paid tribute to legendary DJ of Run DMC with the upcoming release of this Ultrastar Jam Master Jay pack.
