San Francisco based Upper Playground began in 1998 and has become an important player in the development of the street art movement. Aside from their own Upper Playground line, they are also constantly in works with popular artists to showcase talents in their art gallery, FIFTY24SF. They have truly provided a great medium for artists and consumers alike to make art something more enjoyable for the masses.
Here’s a look at their latest collection of poly bonded hoodies. Each hoodie features realistic and lifelike prints including mug shots, ads and the galaxy. These should be available at your local Upper Playground stockist.

Crooks & Castles has just released a pack of Chain C New Era 59Fifty caps through their online shops. Available in black and gray, the cap features a broken ring of chains creating a C as well as a bandana design on the underbill. Available now through the Crooks & Castles online store.
Not a lot has changed from a design perspective with the upcoming release of this Timberland Dookie Rope Pack. However that’s not to say that these two latest Timberland releases are not special in their own right. Two classic silhouettes in the Field Boot and 6 Inch Premium have both been given some bling bling treatment with the use of Dookie Rope laces. Dookie Rope chains arguably hit its peak ages ago when seen on the likes of Run DMC. Available now at STLESS.
Shinsuke Takizawa recently revealed a skate deck by Japanese design group 7Stars. The deck features the intricate detailing of a motorcycle set against a natural unpainted deck. The unorthodox multi-motor bike stretches the entirety of the board. No word on availability yet however 7Stars have their own webstore with the possibility of the board showing up there. The design group 7Stars is also behind a Nike SB Dunk Low which released earlier this month.
As part of the Citizen Alterna program, Japanese store United Arrows was given the opportunity to create a special watch with Citizen. The Citizen Alterna program involves four highly respected stores, each reinterpreting classic Citizen Eco-Drive styles. These stores include the aformentioned United Arrows, Beams, nano･universe and SHIPS. This particular United Arrows Citizen Alterna Eco Drive will retail for ￥34,650 (approximately $303 USD). Available for pre-order now at United Arrows.
UNDFTD will release a series of New Era 59Fifty caps as part of their Militia Collection. These fitted caps feature a ripstop cotton body with a thermal lining. Black, khaki and olive colorways are available. Releasing at all US UNDFTD locations starting Friday, October 26th.
Diesel is set to launch its latest issue of the seasonal ‘zine titled "Brave". This issue represents Chapter Two of Issue Four and comes on the heels of the hugely successful Chapter One publication. Chapter One which released in October, documented the Wing Shya photography exhibition as well as an AliveNotDead.com musical showcase. This latest issue will cover The New Grand Tour exhibition which includes works by New York artists Suitman, José Parlá, Rostarr and Deanne Cheuk. As part of The New Grand Tour, select merchandise from Diesel and the artists will be available for sale.

Supreme will release their latest publication for the 2007 Autumn/Winter season next week. This upcoming magazine will include interview with artists Vincent Gallo, Takashi Murakami, Mr. and Bad Brains. Also featured will be Q&A’s with Tommy Guerrero, Harmony Korine, Skatething among others. Photography will come in the form of a familiar personality, Terry Richardson. The magazine will be available on October 29th in Japan, while stateside Supreme stores will see the magazines available on November 1st.
Toy maker kennysworks has teamed up with Medicom Toys and Levi’s to create a Bearbrick toy based off of kennyswork’s iconic Copperhead-18 series of toys. The toys by kennyswork are often created in painstaking detail, some of these qualities can also be seen on this Bearbrick. These are set to release at the end of November. No word yet on whether any Levi’s products will release as well but stay tuned for more details.

The classic Court Force model from Nike was recently released in a new basic pack. The simple colorways leave most of the highlighting to the clean silhouette of the Court Force. Both a high and low are seen within this pack. The white and black versions feature some crisp use of materials such as smooth metallic-esque synthetic leathers. Check your local Nike dealer for these latest releases.
